Induction & Ongoing Support
All employees at Thorpe Park will attend the company Induction called “Serious about Fun” before they start their first day at work.
The “Serious about Fun” Induction welcomes you into the business through a very interactive, informative and exciting course. You will have the opportunity to meet new people from various departments.
Serious about Fun aims to give you the tools to interact with our guests. You'll learn how to WOW our guests, the service standards and your role and responsibilities while you are employed by Thorpe Park and Merlin Entertainments.
For our returning employees “Serious about Fun” gives you the opportunity to pass on valuable experience to our new employees. You can also pick up new hints, tips and information to help you continue to deliver excellent guest service and interaction.
Our ongoing support also requires you to complete a 6 week Induction booklet from your start date after which you will meet with your line manager to complete a 6 week review which gives both of you an opportunity to check knowledge and understanding and highlighting any other training required. It is also an opportunity to feedback and recognise your development successes.
